The lines at Starbucks are so annoyingly long at times. You wait, and wait, and wait and just before you get to the register, the person in front of you proceeds to order some super-complex six-adjective custom drink from hell that has all of the staff stumped. After five minutes of back-and-forth, they’re finally ready to take your order.

Are you tired of this? Well, now you can fight back! You too can annoy everyone in the store by dreaming up the most verbose custom coffee order possible.

How might you do this you ask? Well, lucky for you I picked up this little gem of a booklet called Make It Your Drink (sort of like this site, but much more detailed) at Starbucks recently. It’s got tons of really obscure coffee adjectives sure to puzzle even longtime Starbucks baristi. Like, what the heck is “Con Panna” anyway? Well, it’s it’s Italian for “with whipped cream,” of course!

For your first installment of Starbucks annoyance ammunition, I’ve included the first two pages from the Learning the Lingo section (the image is linked to a larger shot you can actually read).

So get out there and start doing your part to make those Starbucks queues move even slower.
